Discover Excellence with the Washington College American Marketing Association Chapter
At Washington College, we’re proud to be part of AMA. This connection gives us hands-on experience, industry insights, and the chance to grow within a national network of future marketing professionals. It’s a powerful step toward real-world success and being a part of something bigger than ourselves. Through guest speaker events with professors, alumni, and industry professionals, our members gain valuable perspectives from the field. We also participate in case competitions, collaborate on marketing campaigns for campus events and local businesses, build resumes, and lastly help advance one’s LinkedIn through active involvement and leadership. Overall, our small but dedicated chapter helps students turn their passion for marketing into professional success.

News and Recent Work
The Washington College AMA Chapter has had an incredible run over the past few years! We had exciting involvement in Sophie Kerr Week 2024—featuring chapter member and author Natalie Martinaitis, Hollywood screenwriter Elizabeth Chandler, and alumna Cara Koonzt. The year before, we were even named Top Small Chapter at the 2023 AMA International Collegiate Conference. Our members continue to make us proud, with creative projects, inspiring events, and a strong sense of community. Our chapter keeps the spirit of marketing alive at Washington College!
