  • Patrick Beene

    PRESIDENT

    Patrick is a senior and 3 year member of AMA who joined because he would like to pursue a career in marketing. He is a Business Management major with minors in Political Science and Marketing. Outside of AMA, Patrick is a member of the men’s rowing team.

  • Ashley Swan

    DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL IMPACT

    Ashley is a sophomore returning member of AMA who joined for the community environment. She is a Business Management major. Outside of AMA, Ashley is a member of the field hockey team.

  • Lucy Morris

    CO-DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP

    Lucy is a senior and a new member of AMA who joined because she wants to enhance her marketing skills and expand her professional skillset. She is a Business Management and Sociology double major. Outside of AMA, Lucy spends her time working at the Technology Service Center.

    CO-DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP

    Jordyn is a sophomore and a new member of AMA who joined to advance her leadership and communication skills. She currently plans on majoring in Business Management and minoring in Entrepreneurship.

  • Alan Osorio-Bravo

    DIRECTOR OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

    Alan is a sophomore and a new member of AMA who joined to enhance his understanding of marketing strategies and to be able to gain real world experience through AMA hosted events. He majors in Business Management and Economics and minors in Data Analytics. Outside of AMA, Alan is a member of Washington College’s LSU.

    Ketch is a sophomore and a new member of AMA who joined in order to network with marketers and advance his career through educational opportunities. He is a double major in Business Management and Economics.

    Kenny is a sophomore and a new member of AMA who joined to broaden his business experience and develop both professional and leadership skills within marketing. He is a Business Management major with a minor in Entrepreneurship.

Georgina Bliss

Georgina is the Assistant Director of the Center for Career Development and certified Gallup CliftonStrengths coach for almost 8 years. Georgina spent the previous 30 years as a brand marketing manager-strategist working for New York-based prestige consumer product industry and managing a family firm specializing in retail construction project management across the globe. She has co-advised the American Marketing Association Chapter at Washington Collage since 2017, and in 2019, Washington College’s AMA CASE COMPETITION for the Wall Street Journal came in the second tier “Honorable Mention” group. Since that first big win, the Chapter has won numerous awards every year since 2021 including TOP SMALL CHAPTER for 2 consecutive years (2023 & 2024) at the ICC. Other awards are in Marketing Week and functional areas.

Georgina supports the Department of Business Management as an adjunct professor most recently instructing Principles of Marketing in a hands-on format to build presentation, communications, technology, and speaking skills. She is passionate about marketing and guiding students through the AMA collegiate program. Her wide range of experiences from manufacturing to merchandising supports her students as they dream about their futures.  

Georgina completed her Master of Arts in Leadership Studies at Northern Vermont University, part of Vermont State University. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont where she completed a double major in Romance Languages (French) and Political Science with Honors and obtained a Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing in 2016 (CDMP). Most recently, Georgina was honored to be inducted into the Leadership Honorary Society, Omnicron Delta Kappa.

Caroline LeBon, Ph.D.

Dr. LeBon is an Assistant Professor of Marketing and Director of the Marketing Minor at Washington College. This is her second year teaching in the Department of Business Management. We are excited to welcome Dr. LeBon to the AMA Chapter as part of our outstanding advising team.

Highlight: Dr. LeBon’s research considers and analyzes the changes in companies’ marketing strategies. She has published an article explaining how fashion brands and stores use diverse strategies to present their products and increase repeat exposures to convince customers to purchase their fashion items. She also wrote a book on fashion marketing discussing strategies companies use to increase fashion products success globally.

Before joining academia, Dr. LeBon spent 10 years as a buyer for the leading French department store, Galeries Lafayette - Paris. In her role, Dr. LeBon oversaw the selection, negotiation, and procurement for national and international brands and was responsible for sales revenues, prices, margins, promotional activities, and inventory management for the accessories, womens, and mens departments.
