Nope! Here at AMA, we accept students from all majors and minors. If you have an interest in marketing, communications, creativity, or professional development, then AMA is for you!

Our chapter meets once a week at 6pm on Thursdays in the Career Center.

Yes, members are expected to attend every meeting to stay involved and get the most out of their AMA experience. However, you are a student first, and we understand that conflicts can come up. If you can’t make a meeting, we will work with you to see that you make it up through alternative tasks, so you can continue to be an active member of our chapter.

Absolutely! You’re welcome to attend a general meeting even if you’re not an official AMA member. We host many meetings focused on professional development, such as résumé workshops, LinkedIn tips, and guest speakers—which are valuable for any student, regardless of major or membership status. It’s a great way to see what AMA is all about before deciding to join!

Nope! Our AMA chapter has no application deadline. We welcome members at any time and we are always excited to see new faces!
